13  In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.14  That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the first fruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it–to the praise of His glory.15  For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints (the people of God),16  I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers.

In Christ we are stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit. I am stamped with the seal of the Holy Spirit. What does this mean? We have the guarantee of our inheritance. We have a guarantee from God that we are heirs, we will get our inheritance.
Paul does not cease to give thanks fro the Ephesians. I want to also not cease giving thanks for the blessings I have in my life. I take things for granted too often, forgetting where I’ve come from and where I could be. I am not worthy of the wife and kids that I have. Only through God’s blessings do I enjoy my family.
