“Glorifying and enjoying me is a higher priority than maintaing a tidy, structured life. Give up your striving to keep everything under control – an impossible task and waste of precious energy. My guidance for each of my children is unique. That is why listening to Me is so vital to your well being. Let me prepare you for the day ahead and point you in the right direction.” – Sarah Young / Jesus Calling
Instead of worrying about my task list, my schedule, things I need to get done today, I should rather prioritize glorifying and enjoying Christ. How do I prioritize that? By taking time each morning to stop and slow down, just allow God to minister to me through quiet time.
Connecting with God each morning will allow me to listen to Him. His voice is small and faint. I need to be tuned into Him to hear. Dedicating time with Him each morning will allow me to hear Him. I want to be guided by God. He says in Ephesians that He can accomplish infinitely more than we can ask or think.
Psalm 5:11 – But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy.
Ephesians 3:20 – Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
Jude 24 – 25 – Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. 25 All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.
Joshua 1:5 – No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.
